A couple of red letter days for the Possener family when the Chief Rabbi visited Eton School where Adam is a pupil and also a visit to the Houses of Parliament for Rebecca Possener and Jane Prinsley. Jane and Rebecca were selected to participate in the Faith in the Futures Conference at the Houses of Parliament on 27th October. This is part of the Forum for Jewish Leadership. Jane and Rebecca were the only participants representing the small communities and were part of a group of 20 or so 6th formers from schools in London and Manchester. They had a fantastic day learning about Jewish leadership and Jewish perspectives on legal, political and social issues. It is understood that Lord Levy was surprised to hear that there was a Jewish community in Nowich (he obviously doesn’t read his JC!) and they were impressed at our Shabbat UK involvement.
