Nely Vasconcelos was born on 13th August 1950. She was the 5th child out of 6 children of a Jewish Moroccan-Spanish family (first generation born in Brazil). She studied Journalism and became a public figure in South America, working as an international correspondent in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Panama and Spain.
After more than 30 years working as a journalist, she became a radio presenter and was the founder of a show called Good Will Movement, when she was able to help hundreds of people in need over almost 15 years.
She passed away on the 23rd July 2023, after a long battle against bowel cancer and left 2 children and 4 grandchildren
