The Megillah (Book of Ester) was read on the Saturday evening preceded by the Havdalah ceremony.
More members celebrated in style on the Sunday afternoon with the children of the two Jewish communities joining together with many fancy dresses and the usual Purim goodies eaten.
The first seder night this year was celebrated at the Synagogue, as already mentioned by Marian with a wonderful meal prepared mainly by Poppy but with input too from Marian and charoset expertly made by Paul.
