Home > Events > CCJ – The Annual Martin Buber Lecture – 25th July 2017
25 July, 2017
7:30 pm

We are privileged to have as our speaker, Rabbi Alexandra Wright.  R. Alexandra was the first female senior rabbi in the country when she was appointed to the Liberal Jewish Congregation in St. Johns Wood in 2004.

She is a strong supporter of the CCJ and a scholarly and engaging speaker.  She has chosen as her topic, “What have Bach’s St. John Passion ever done for Jewish-Christian Relations”.  One might imagine the challenge singing The Passion could be for any Jew, let alone a senior rabbi.  It would be good to have a large audience for such a distinguished guest so please come and bring your friends.

Entrance fee £4.00 to include refreshments.

Norwich Synagogue – Tuesday 25th July 2017 7.30 pm.

Martin Buber
