Grant Pledge received from The GEOFFREY WATLING Charity

We aGW logore delighted to announce that we have been pledged a sum of  £30,000 towards our Refurbish Project by the The Geoffrey Watling Charity.

This is a further big step forward towards our target and vision of creating a modern Jewish Centre for the region.  The President, Committee and entire Congregation sincerely thank the Charity for its magnificent support.

Geoffry Watling was a very prominent and successful Norwich born and educated business man.  He was well known for many good reasons but to all Norwich City football supporters he was known as   “The man who saved Norwich City Football Club” back in 1956 when he became its Chairman for 16 years.

He formed the GW charity as a lasting legacy to his wife Carol who died in 1982.  To read more about this remarkable man please follow the link Geoffrey Wattling History
