2017 Garden Party – A Great Event

The weather may of been against us, cool and damp, so a swift decision was reached to hold this year’s garden party inside the Synagogue complex.  The ladies provided a fabulous afternoon tea with many members bringing along cakes and plates of food.

Luckily the inclement weather did not dampen spirits and around 40 adults and 12 or so children enjoyed a wonderful afternoon as you can see in the attached photo gallery of the event.

This year we had more stalls than ever, including s/h books, plants, jewellery, jams and most popular of all the tom-bola run by Poppy Simons and the Clothes Peg Challenge run by Jessica Goldfinch.  The afternoon raised over £560 towards Synagogue funds and our thanks go out to you all, organisers and all those who turned out on a dreary Sunday afternoon.
