Our funding appeal is continuing to go well as we have almost reached the significant milestone of £300,000 either donated or pledged.

A few weeks ago we were delighted to hear from the Garfield Weston Foundation that they had decided to give us a grant of £10,000.

We are of course indebted to them for their magnificent generosity and have thanked them accordingly.

Today we still require around £85,000 to get going with the development of the “Norwich Jewish Community and Heritage Centre”, so if you have not yet donated, please consider us and make you donation today, either on-line or by contacting the Treasurer (details below).

We have held a number of successful fund raising events recently most notably the Zemel Choir Concert held in the R.C. Cathedral opposite the Synagogue.

Our next fund raiser will be the Annual Garden Party which will be held at the Synagogue on Sunday September 10th, to which all are welcome.  We plan to reveal the winning bids for the Silent Auction of 8 lots which have been donated by members and friends of the community. For details click link above and place your bids for the chance to win one of these exciting lots.

As always donations towards the fund are gratefully received.  Thank you.
